About the publication
A contractor's notes on Florida homes
Bela Constructions is a home and interior design publication written from the job site, helping homeowners weigh materials, finishes, and renovation choices before the work begins.
A licensed Florida contractor
Built on real job-site experience
Bela Constructions is run by a licensed Florida contractor who has spent years renovating kitchens, bathrooms, and whole interiors across the state. The articles here come from that daily work: what holds up under coastal humidity, what cracks after a hurricane season, and what homeowners wish they had known before signing off on a finish.
The goal is simple. Give homeowners the same practical perspective a trusted builder would offer across the kitchen table, without the sales pitch.
How we publish
How each guide is written
Hands-on testing
We compare finishes and materials in real Florida light and humidity, so the advice reflects how things actually perform.
Plain English
Construction terms are explained the first time they appear, so you can follow every decision without a trade vocabulary.
Honest evaluations
When a finish has drawbacks, such as staining or hard cleaning, we say so plainly and explain who it suits best.
